The opportunity

Senpilot is building an AI-native operating system (Engineering, Regulatory, Customer Service) for the utility of the future. In this role, you will transform how regulatory work gets done. You'll (1) serve as a bridge between various regulatory customer groups (utilities, commissions, consultants, etc.) and a world-class AI development team, and (2) wear multiple hats across customer engagement and product management in a fast-paced environment. Think "AI startup meets regulatory expert" – this role doesn't exist anywhere else.

What you'll do

• Serve as a SME on electric utility regulatory practices and workflows
• Build quality systems and benchmarks to evaluate regulatory outputs
• Work with world-class software engineers to test product and shape roadmap
• Support GTM and customer teams with demos, discovery calls, proposals, etc.
• Represent Senpilot at regulatory conferences (meaningful travel)
• Leverage AI tooling to offer regulatory data products and services

What we're looking for

• Familiarity with utility regulatory work from multiple sides (utility, commission, etc.)
• Expert judgment on what "good" looks like across regulatory deliverables
• "AI-forward" mindset in relation to both personal skillset and the regulatory sector
• Understanding of B2B SaaS products, with strong business and strategic intuition
• Rapid learner, with exceptional analytical and communication skills
• Comfortable being a Swiss-army knife in a fast-paced startup environment

• Location: Brooklyn, NY (hybrid) (full-time)
• Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 (tenure-dependent), plus equity
• Reports to: CEO
